Thank you, I think he’s a good goat for this unit and I’m super happy with him. His face, body size, and hair conditions checked all the boxes for me. His body size reminded me of a nice montana blackbear. Took the two of us to safely maneuver him to a tree so we could start to clean him. When he popped out above the small one he looked like a gorilla waddling across the scree. Based on rings I think he was in his prime at 5 years old.
Yeah my buddy shot a nanny last year. It was pretty small even though she was older. I’d say these quarters remind me of a mule deer but the weight is more evenly distributed across the front and rear quarters. It was 64 lbs of quarters cut off at the knee with a lot of blood shot cut out of one of the fronts.
