Anyone going to Elk Camp in Reno this week? It runs from Thursday to Sunday.

I will be there Thurs-Sat. If any of you are there, let me know and I will try to catch up with you.

I was hoping to be there, but apparently we are about out of money. Hope I have job after next Friday. Have fun.

Wish I was going this year, maybe next.
I just ordered tickets for the local event, should be 900-1,000 people.

Fin, I'll be there. ;) Let me know if you aren't too busy and maybe we can catch up or even grab a bite to eat. Though, I understand if your Activities Coordinator has mapped out your stay already. :D

Can't make it but have a buddy who is going. We have a local Rmef banquet in 2 weeks and then the Bowhunters of Wyoming Winter meeting in Cody the next weekend. Too much to do in one month.

My extra $$ is going to a bow this year so I'm out but maybe next year. I'm on the local committee so I get a lot of pressure to go but it's just not in the cards.

Where we meeting? I know for sure I'll be visiting Mark at the MR booth to order a DragonSlayer...

Stopped in to the show today - lots of good stuff going on for OYOA and sponsors alike. It was great to connect again with BigFin and some of his buddies, the Mystery Ranch guys, Elkwhisper at the Leupold booth and Mark at Kenetrek had some good stuff. Plus, I picked up a new bugle - rumor has it that IdahoBugler has the same one...perhaps it will bring me good luck this season! :D

Was a very good show. Lots of traffic. Met with a lot of Hunt Talkers. Enjoyed meeting them, and a lot of new people.

Spent a lot of time with RMEF folks. They love the OYOA message, and I think they want to help us promote the self-guided message, as we go forward.

Saw the previews of the new RMEF show, Team Elk. Looks like a huge jump in production quality over Elk Chronicles.

Will probably watch it, even if it is on some network that won't allow a wolf hunt to be shown. Kinda ironic, the elk show is on a network that won't allow wolf hunts. Hmmmm.

I previously was the chair of our local Ducks Unlimited committee and would travel to the national convention, similar to Elk Camp. Was always impressed with how generous some people are with their time and money, all in the name of conservation. Saw a lot of the same in Reno this week. Lots of money raised for habitat.

Hunters are some amazingly generous and energetic people. Too bad all of society is not as committed to wildlife and wild places, as are hunters.

Now, gotta get those elk apps completed for these states that are coming due soon.

NICE!!!! Bart and randy 10 foot tall on the big screen!

OYOA makes its presence known at the daryl singeltary concert.

Man, and I didn't even get an invite. Do I get royalties for that stuff? :D

Hope it was good. Clay Walker was very good.

They are also big supporters of guaranteed outfitter tags. I guess they have everyone covered.:D
