I watched The Godfather again, just a week ago. He was a great actor.

Duvall always seemed like "the complete man" to me. His love of dancing, art, beauty, his skill as an actor, the way he comported himself and how he approached some incredibly complex personalities was central to his appeal. He could be fierce when needed, and tender when it's called for. A true lion.

Lots of folks have been sharing clips of Duvall in flicks, but I've enjoyed seeing his interviews too. He was a really solid combination of erudite gentleman, rough American, and a person who doesn't give a F#$k.
