I have a savage American classic in 7mm08, love the accu trigger. I also have an xbolt in .280 Remington.
The x bolt is a very nice gun and I like the cartridge, but I don't like the trigger, I cannot lighten it below 4.5 pounds.
I am looking at getting a .338 Federal, based on the itrigger , I will getting a Savage.

I believe I narrowed it down to the Howa and the Browning. I'm going to go with 7mm08. Most likely a Leupold scope. I hope to get the rifle ordered soon. Thanks for the heads-up on Grice. Unfortunately, it's 5.5 hours from me. I will update as my quest progresses.

I've handled Howa's and the Browning Xbolt (not shot either) and for me the Xbolt is a nice "feeling" rifle. It just seems to fit me and handles well. Nothing against the Howa's but they just seem average to me.
