We have different definitions of the word "discussion", particularly as it relates to DC. If I assume the claim is true, Fulcher talking to someone with an R next to their name on this topic is no different than discussing the outcome of last Sunday's football game of their shared favorite team. If he talked to someone with a D and was told "GTF out of my office" before he finished his sentence, that isn't a discussion.Aka the discussion.
Yes it is. One is a fixed asset that you can't make more of with varying value based on use and contents that could be very valuable from a Federal point of view. The other a replenishing asset dependent on a multitude of variables and largely homogeneous. Maybe a closer comparison for you would be water? My point is that it us not a huge logical leap to apply the same principle to the land itself.
Pipe dream for Idaho. Idaho’s legislature isn’t good with math. The state was on a streak for a few years with roughly a $50 million annual surplus. The legislature decided a $250 million tax cut would solve the surplus. The state is now dealing with a $60 million budget deficit. Idaho must have a balanced budget so the state is now cutting spending to get back to even. This math issue was pointed out at the time of the proposed tax cuts.Sure you can. Idaho isn’t even close pulling all of the financial levers it could be to be utilizing currently.

What happens when Fed land is given to Idaho? It will eventually get sold. The state does not have the money nor people to manage the land or fight fires. Thanks to tariffs, the whole ag industry is in trouble except for potentially beef. No industry is going to pay market rent rates.
Fulcher needs voted out of office. He’s been trouble since day 1. He gave my daughter a Naval Academy nomination two years ago. I decided to play nice out of appreciation. When the public land debate this year started again, Idaho’s representatives stood behind keeping the lands public except Fulcher. I’ll do my best to see he’s voted out of office.
I'm having a little trouble read if this is sarcasm or you are serious.Let it burn policy, which is always very popular and great for the States resources.
Never get involved in a land war in Southeast Asia or firefighting in the western US.That’s criminal @44hunter45. There has to be a better way.
I believe you are that selfish.I couldn’t disagree more, especially as it relates to big game tag anllocation and price discrepancies between Rs and NRs.
Really?Alaska aside, the western states in the lower 48 absolutely can afford to do so.
Really?
Take a look at Idahos budget. Russ is just looking for something to pawn until Idaho qualifies for its next payday loan.
I believe you are that selfish.
