Relax, Everything is Going to be Okay!

Also middle class and agree. We know what we physically see and feel regardless of what anyone tells us. I know those things listed are costing more. I also know my p/u was on E and I filled it up for $60. I feel like it wasn't that long ago that was $80. Not sure. The other thing is we can't get unbiased information. And we can't get the entire story. Have you ever been anywhere and seen something happen and then read the article in the paper. Could be a news worthy event or even a sporting event from high school through pro. Very rarely is the info 100% correct. And yet we trust those same sources for things that matter????
Regular gas is about the only thing where prices have dropped a bit. Diesel...not so much.

Production is being cut, they arent thinking they should keep it up with the prices they are fetching...so I expect some increase is coming.

But energy overall is Way Up! Heating oil, natural gas have gone up dramatically.

I’ve been watching the oil game. I might be overthinking this but I think T has an end game that is interesting.

I don’t agree with taking over Venezuela, potentially Canada 2026, blockading Cuba and everything other bullying tactic. He’s made some backroom deals with Saudi Arabia for it to increase production to lower prices too. Lower oil prices have Texas oilfields at a four year low for new well drilling. U.S. is now selling commandeered Venezuelan oil to Texas oil refiners at a $15 per barrel discount (another great negotiation win for T).

However, by controlling oil reserves, he can control production bringing oil prices down. I think lower fuel prices in the US is a side benefit. I think he’s purposely taking money away from Russia and Iran. It’s hard to fight a long war or run a regime once the oil money dries up.

Can someone explain how Bondi and Patel still have their jobs? I know they've gutted the staff of every federal department but come one
Same reason Mayorkas keep his when he said the border was secure and Merrick Garland keep his after surveillance on Latin Mass Catholic churches

Started way before Cheeto...probably started before you were born and has got exponentially worse since the internet came into existence.
The first I paid attention to biased media was the Clinton Presidency. Yes fake news became a saying under Trump presidency. However many Americans thought that way before the saying came out or it became popular. Who remembers this guy

we all remember this guy. But he was about as accurate as we see from the media today

And Saudi Arabia, UAE, Brazil, Mexico, etc. All that Russian and Iranian oil is hitting the market, just at a reduced price (like Venezuelan oil did at $15brl). Stopping that is impossible. At the 10,000ft view, there doesn't seem to be a plan other than to double down on fossil fuels when the rest of the world is moving on to sourcing electric, with the main goal of scraping a little cash off the top for political "friends and family".

I don't belive every democrat hates hunting and fishing. i do belive every dem politician will run with a anti hunting bill if those supporting it are louder then those against it. We see that time and time again.

I dont think that's fully true. Jon Tester and Martin Heinrich are a couple examples that Fin has hosted on the podcast. There are some west slope CO dems that pushed against wolf re-intro.

I think there is a lot more to it than just the US trying to crush Russia, China, Iran for "our" benefit. They dont give a F about us. Its to crush any remaining opposition to the globalist bankers who control everything. US citizens will see crumbs of benefit as they continue to make us hate each other, further destroy trust in institutions, forget our humanity, etc. All while they increasingly surveil us unimpeded to make sure nobody does anything about it.

Unfortunately it’s also a war against six figure salaries in fly over country

I get it and I very well may be placing intelligence to the wrong actor. This all could be a great coincidence.

2024 oil at $80/ versus 2025 at $60/ represents 25% drop. AI says Russia oil revenue dropped 24%. I know from the past Russia sells more oil to pay for its need for war money.

Dropping fuel prices does help the US inflation number. I looked today and reduced fuel prices was a leading negative factor for inflation. Take the fuel prices out and inflation may be closer to 3%.IMG_4924.jpeg

Natural gas spiked a bit during this recent cold snap, but it's come back down. I am going to start calling you the "boy who cried wolf".

Democrat sportsman/women need to push back on these ideas more then they have so they thought doesnt even cross their mind.
Do you know why Jason is willing to make that bet? Because D sportsmen have pushed back. They've made a ton of progress, sat through meeting after meeting, tried to build bridges and establish relationships with those in power, because throwing shit at politicians doesn't typically get them to agree with your point.

There are a ton of D sportsmen in the GD trenches in WA working like hell to keep what we have.

You know why the fight is so damn hard? Because the vast majority of non-hunting D's think hunters = Trump/MAGA. And I shouldn't have to point out that you couldn't have a worse messenger.

Nice choice of timeliness there!

Go back to the rates at the the time of Trumps election in 2024...

and they are still up dramatically despite the recent dip.

Serious question witch set of "trenches" do you think have more bipartisan support sportsmen/women or anti hunting groups in your state?

Bipartisan? Clearly, hunting and fishing. No one on the R side supports anti-hunting.

Who has the deepest trenches, the most established, the hardest to overtake? The Anti's. They're better funded, better organized, and outnumber us. But we have more passionate grassroots activists (though I'll admit there's a pretty high burnout rate).
