Relax, Everything is Going to be Okay!

Remember, ICE is just after the "bad hombres"
Why did CBS leave this part out???

"His criminal history includes domestic assault, criminal trespass, reckless conduct, deposit account fraud, violation of probation, multiple arrests for driving on a suspended license," McLaughlin told Newsweek. "In 2014, an immigration judge ordered him removed after he failed to show up for his immigration hearing.

Oh…ya…because it wouldn’t fit their narrative.

I'm not saying you're incorrect, but the burden of evidence rests on the accuser - Tricia McLaughlin has straight-up lied about criminal records and gang affiliations for countless people so I'm going to need more than her statement to believe the allegations.

Absolutely. And that said, the trump administration pretty much has CBS in the bag now.

How can this be made up:

“In 2014, an immigration judge ordered him removed after he failed to show up for his immigration hearing.”

Maybe courts have their own version of Google, but I’d wager if he was here legally he’d be free right now.

I’ll continue on with my day knowing that ICE is doing great things. The only thing that could make the day better is putting a wolf in the salt and seeing a picture of Ilhan Omar boarding a plane to Somalia with a one way ticket in her hand.

You apparently bought into the justification for murdering a couple of minnesotans recently that were held bent on mass occurring dozens of ICE thugs.

I will take Omar over that every day

Because you would judge him by that list without knowing the full facts, exactly like you did. That was a laundry list things that could easily be misdemeanors. And simply saying a judge ordered him removed doesn't end the story. The prosecutor paints one picture and the defense paints another. Happens every day in courtrooms across the country. Even more on the internet.

And then the judge rules…

Then the wheels of justice take 12 years to implement the judges wishes. Cry harder.

If it was murder there would have been an arrest. Looked like a justified shooting to me. The definition of FAFO.

Who fights with cops while packing heat? I’ll answer that for you, an idiot looking to get shot.

In what world do you live in where a cop gives an order to get out of a car, you say F that and step on the gas with another cop standing in front of the car? How’s that going to end…zero sympathy.

Servile.

While that is entirely true. Its no different than CBS painting headline with ICE deports soldier. It's equally judgemental.

Their headline is a literal telling of the facts. There's no sensationalism. They deported a man who served in the US military. It's not like the headline reads, "ICE deports national hero who served honorably." It seems like a lot to ask to have them avoid facts in the headline if the facts are inconvenient.

OK.

I think we can all agree "Georgia army veteran Man deported to Jamaica after routine traffic stop speaks out on ICE detention, systemic failures" would not be a sensationalized headline. In my opinion, adding a qualifier that that man is an army veteran is a reasonable addition and not in any way untrue. Does it drive more clicks, yeah, probably, but in the grand scheme of media sensationalism this one is barely a ripple compared to many, many worse offenders.

We have illegals in the military?
I've seen elsewhere that he came to the US legally as a 17-year-old so he presumably joined as a green-card holder but never gained full citizenship. He also claims that the immigration hearing letter was sent to the wrong address. Plenty of people say plenty of things, including Tricia McLaughlin, so who's to say whether that's true.

Also true. However, the onus of objectivity is on the reader regardless of what the headline is. To put it another way, people see what they want to see. I don't know how we can even sit unbiased jury these days.
