Relax, Everything is Going to be Okay!

Janet Jackson.
Nah, they used to have cool commercials that everybody could enjoy. Like beer commercials, volkswagen l, with lightsabers, and of course the budweiser horses. I caught a glimpse of a budweiser horse out of the corner of my eye, but I didn't see any commercial.

But most of the commercials were just plain bad.

The freebird budweiser commercial was corny, but good. Didn't see any others worth watching.

Budweiser commercial was a good one. It featured the pairing of a Clydesdale colt growing up with his little buddy, the Bald Eagle chick. They matured into a couple of soaring giants.

Easy for me to like as I am fond of draft horses and eagles. My daughter as a teen raised and trained Pete, the Belgian draft horse with gorgeous white mane and tail. She rode Pete in trail classes where his feet barely fit the trail. She rode English dressage, trail, and reining patterns to music. Pete was also a jumper. I have a photo of my daughter jumping him over a high rail ... soaring just as the Clydesdale in the Budweiser commercial. Pete was a gentle giant often standing frozen at the petting zoo, where kids climbed all over him and pulled on his mane and tail. I digress ... but draft horses appeal to me and memories of Pete are a highlight of life.

There was an OK Budweiser horse ad on during the super bowl. The one I really applauded was right after it--I assume they taped it and only planned to run it if the seahawks won. You'd need to have followed the last SB between the two teams to get it.

Lol. Same. I control the office music. By default. The new office was built that way with one office having control. My Playlist is George Jones to Rob Zombie and everything in between. Select songs by select artist. At 8am when the doors open to the public its Morgan Wallen of something similar that is more reasonable. But before that its anyone's guess.

You lost me at Morgan Wallen being something reasonable.

Even before owning a horse, draft horses and Belgians in particular, have always captivated me. Now after having horses for the last couple of decades, if my time on earth had been before automobiles, I would have enjoyed life.

Haha. Got to please the next gen. That's as far as I will go into their music. When you have customers coming in Nirvana or Skillet dont cut it. Maybe some old school country but with 15-20 folks in the office I gotta find a middle ground.

Ditto. We have 2. Haflinger and Icelandic. They could make some handsome commercials.

Right!! The commercials use to be awesome couldn't wait to see the new ones. This year there was a lot of bad ones, very few good ones, and really no great ones.

I liked the commercial where Mike Tyson called out American for being fat. Too much processed food.
Could that be construed as " woke"?
