Rebuilding from the ground up sounds plausible until you realize a boat is a better analogy.
I was thinking of a good analogy. Think of a guided elk hunt.
Biden as your guide, you get to camp and discover there 2 other dudes going with you. He has poor eyesight, tells the same old stories a dozen times, and takes the same well-worn trails to the same areas as everyone else. He can find elk and you have high chance of a shot and maybe you even take home an elk, but the nothing seems "magical" about the experience. You certainly wouldn't do it again.
Then you have Trump. Promises a great hunt in wilderness with no competition at a great price, so you send the check. You get to camp and says you have to pay him more to go out the next day to his special spot. The food sucks, he constantly complains about the weather, tells you CWD and all the predators are government conspiracy to put him out of business and clearly he hates the other outfitters because they are out to get him too. He takes you into an area that you can literally hear the wolves howling because he thinks there might be a big bull down there. He doesn't know or care about thermals or the wind at all. You can see other outfitters and their clients on the ridges above. Then he tells you he hurt his back so you have to carry all the gear. Takes you down 2000 ft into the "honey hole" and you see an elk running out the other side 700 yds away. It is a 250in bull that he tells you is 375in and you should unload on the "monster". You decline. He says it was a great hunt because you saw one and hints that you are the problem because they smelled "you" and then gives you the stink-eye when you tip isn't that great.
I am waiting for the point where you realize it was better that you didn't shoot the bull anyway because you were going to have to haul it back up the 2000ft yourself.
