Recommended Bison Hunts in Wyoming?

Looking for a chance to "hunt" Bison in/around Wyoming. I say "hunt" because I know I won't draw one so I'm just looking to shoot one on someones ranch. The wife has been hounding me about bison meat/hide/skull ever since our friend shot one on the refuge a few years back. We've been trying to draw ever since.....

If you know of any ranches you'd recommend in/around Wyoming I'm interested.

Buffalo Ranch South of Gillette. HWY 59? Just North of Reno Junction. Next could be SD. Don't know much about them.

I think there is a "ranch" just outside of Laramie that sells bison "shoots", for meat. Rebel Ranch

I don't know about anyone else but that type of "hunt" just doesn't interest me.

I sort of agree - but bison conservation isnt going to look like deer/elk/sheep etc.

If bison are ever going to grow in america an unfortunate reality is that wont change until more of them are around to grow acceptance as a species and are profitable for agriculture.

Not just that - a lot of untested theories exist about how theyd react with fencing and nearby cattle - one of the few easy ways to test those theories is to have functioning ranches that raise bison.
