I've shot a bunch of birds over my buddy's drahthaar and those dogs can be machines! His motto is, "real dogs have beards"...of course I may have poked the bear a bit with my "Life's too short to hunt with an ugly dog" license plate holder (my old bird dog is a vizsla).
