I received my recent copy muley magazine and it reaks of auction tags and big money. A story titled "getting lucky" starts like this in 2009 I had the statewide AZ deer tag, in 2010 I hunted the AZ strip, in 2011 I decide I wanted to hunt the strip again and kill'ed a 267" Buck. Wow what luck I don't think he is in the same drawing pool as me. In a story with a 207 Buck the shooter says that the desire to shoot a big mule deer led me to purchase a very larg ranch in sonora Mexico. This with all of the possey shots of six guides plus hunter and I'm out I feel like I am supporting auction tags or terrorism or something bad by giving them my money.

I hope not but who knows. I guess I will cross that bridge when I come to it. I enjoy the scouting and hard work as much as the hunt and the thought of paying someone to hunt with me well lets just say I would rather go alone. I would put in for a lot more hunts if money was not an issue though. I guess we all draw a line somewhere.
