Quick over night hunt

Recently we have been having winter storms but a couple of days ago they shopped and the sun popped out for a couple of days. The weather was beautiful and I guessed the deer would be out enjoying the sunny conditions. Headed over to my local spot and walked 40mins until I started seeing deer.

Saw a few red hinds and yearlings and then eventually a fallow buck. This is a very popular spot and animals just don’t get old. Decided to take the buck to stock up the freezer.

Took the meat and skin.

When for another hunt a couple of days ago and shot this buck. This time public land in Otago.

I saw seven chamois but left them all to grow. Here’s a photo I took on my photo of 3 chamois at 74 yards.
