I bought a new deer hunting book for my grandson's b-day which is not for several months from now. But I am also interested in reading this book. Do you think it would be alright if I read this book before gifting it to him? Hoping the binding does not show use. Please share your opinion. Thank you. TR

I agree. You reading it first makes it special. I’d also take time to write him a note in the cover. A shared book on its own creates a bond. One shared between a grandson and grandad even more so.

I would agree with reading it also, and writing a note in the front cover.
Not much info on the grandson, however there WILL BE A DAY when he truly appreciates this book and that you’ve read it too.
