Do they catch marlin in cabo around November 10? One of my friends says he not going if they aren't there. What do you catch that time of year? We caught marlin,tuna and mahai in May last year on Elbuster. I'll probably go with them one trip. I'm thinking I'll give Redrum a shot too. Thanks Don

Don, The best time of the year for Marlin in Cabo is from mid October to mid November and from mid March to mid May. That is the time when the big fish, Blacks and Blues are migrating through that area. Biggest fish we ever hooked in Cabo was the day before Thanksgiving in 1978. After about 40 minutes of pulling on the line, he let us go. I estimated that he was between 800 and 1000 pounds. What a ride! Best striper bite was on January 28th 1979. (I remember because it was my birthday). We had six fish hooked at once. All I could do was stand on the bridge and watch! Truth be known, the best time for Marlin fishing in Cabo is when you're there because they are always there.
