My view this morning and a couple bucks on camera recently. See if I can pass these nice bucks in a quest for a 160”. I’m kinda trigger happy so it will be tough. Can hunt till lunch time today and tomorrow afternoon and all weekend. Then will adjust plans From there. Seaosn runs till December 2 or 7th depending on The area

Good luck buddy.

Here in Ontario we are just starting to see the early parts of rut behavior. Hopefully I get to connect with a nice buck this weekend too.

good luck my Canadian brother, shoot straight and may Big Hank stumble behind a doe in front of your blind.

How are the WT numbers in your area? It's been 5 yrs. since we hunted Sasky after the brutal die off from them bad winters and I dream of coming back again soon. With the low non-resident Canadian draw numbers and no Internationals this year, my guess is that its gunna be fantastic hunting for the residents of Saskatchewan. Hope you shoot a slob of a wt bud!

This morning was basically a bust saw one doe as I was walking out. It poured rain on me all morning until I had to leave for work. Checked cards couple ok mature bucks but not big guys yet

I have two 5x4 on the bait thag look very similar one has a small 5th on the right side and one small fifth on the left. The tip and bottom picture. Just a nice heavy 4x4 in the middle picture. Big snow storm coming in Saturday and Sunday. I’m excited to see what shows up tomorrow afternoon

They seem pretty good here not sure if they were higher five years ago I didn’t live here then

Brought a young guy out for his first buck the smaller one snuck past us and didn’t have time for a shot bugger one which Is a gorgeous mature buck was right in front of the blind but got spooked as tried to get a shot.

See what today brings

Sooooooo what's your position on baiting deer😉🤣

Following this one for sure!
I know I suck at it and it’s way easier to shoot a deer off the side of a field then lug bait in. After sitting for a day now and A bunch of trail cam pictures I need to adjust my blind and bait as the deer are mainly coming from behind me.

Sat from 8-4 till the young fella got cold so we left. With the blizzard coming in figured deer would have moved good this morning but they didn’t. Saw zero deer today and a cow moose. Came home got my deer blind ready to be hauled out. This one will be way warmer then a pop up!!

Plan to check coyote snares tomorrow then scout with the fresh snow. Would like to start a second bait on the farmland. It’s season opens the 15th. Plan to use the snow to get another bait out in hopefully a hot spot and maybe get a couple spots prepped for sitting in the edge of fields

2nd bait is set no pictures. Blinds go up tomorrow and re adjust some cams for last bit of info. Before season opens the 15th. Saw about 160” whitetail with a doe about 300 yards from where I was setting my bait. That gets the hopes up

View from my wooden shooting house I dropped off today. Deer cross this “road” often. Some of the biggest bucks I see in November every year are at this spot. I didn’t even put any bait at this spot lol. Shuffle step last few cameras around and setup my last blind. All ready for season opener on Sunday now
