Well, I've got these four quail

Get some fixin's together

Quarter the birds and brown in olive oil

Drain most of the oil off

Add chicken stock, mushrooms, green onions and spices

Simmer for a half/hour or so then add some cream and cook for another ten minutes.

Serve over rice with steamed, buttered broccoli and a glass of chardonnay

9/10, I would have given a perfect 10/10 if only the shotgun you used to kill the quail were in the photo as well :)
 
Mine stay in the bacon grease until they reach sampler status. Yowza!
