Went outside to have a smoke.

Puppy whinning. Didn't think much of it.

14 Puppies, one, or the other, is usually whinning a bit for no good reason almost all the time.

Well, it kept on & on & on & on & on.

So, I think ....Hmmmmmm, might wanna check this out.

Head to the kennel.

Lo & Behold "Stumpy" has his freakin head stuck in the chain link fence !

Please, Please explain to me how a puppy, with a 4" head, gets it squirmed through a 2" link fence !

Well after, tugging, tucking back ears, trying to stretch back links, having 13 puppies & 2 moms crawling all over me, and Stumpy now screaming bloody murder (remember the Mom's are 70 & 85 # police trained German Sheppards) I head back to the garage to try to find something to cut the fence with.

HA! OH Yeah ! A pair of pliers and some sheet metal snips.

So, back to the 13 un-noosed puppies and the 2 mom's with fangs, I try to cut the fence link.

Hey ! Ya know whut ? That chit is strong stuff !!!!!

Now, Stumpy is whaling like I'm the devil with an electric cattle prod!

Momma is not happy. NO, NO, NO!!!!!!

Grrrrrrrr..... Fangs!

13 puppies doing the Whatch'a doin.. Whatcha doin' thing all over me.

Yarp, Yarp, Yarp, (He's freakin' killing me)

Then I see that he's in the bottom link of the fence.

So I take the pliers and try to bend the coupling. And Thank God it just breaks off ! I open the link and dumb a$$ Stumpy pulls out.

Mom's are cool now, puppies are "Oh well, Fun's over, WHATEVER".

The Gunner walks away with testicles intact.......and glad !!!!

I never had one get their head stuck. I did have a beagle that I spent more time busting thru ice because he fell thru and couldn't get out than I can remember
