Proud Papa n happy little man!!!!

My grandson sealed the deal yesterday evening!!!! He turned 6 back in September n we’ve been practicing for a while; pellet gun, n my .223 wylde. Couldn’t have asked for a better shot, dead while standing. I was extremely excited but my grandson, it was a whole different world when we walked up to him!!! He kept jumping up n down yelling, “I did it!! I finally did it!!!!”
I’ve gotten quite a few animals in my time n still get excited but there is nothing like seeing ur kids (daughter n son) carry it on, n now my grandson!!!! Words can’t explain the feelings.

The final talley on my grandson’s first buck!! Think we r just going to make burger w the trim meat; bought a brisket to grind w today, oso bucco w the shanks, braise the neck, pastrami w some of the ham roasts, n steaks w the rest.
On a side note; still waiting for pics, but my grandfather; 92, dropped a pretty good one this evening!!! Both ends of the spectrum!!! 6yo n a 92yo, all getting it done!!! He is my grandson’s great great grandfather!!!!
