Just did a dry run with my kit I'm packing into the mountains next week, and noticed my peep sight is vulnerable to snagging.

Last season I was treestand hunting near home, and my peep flipped in my string. Only solution is a bow press. I totally forgot about it until this morning when I was going over things.

My solution is just a few wraps of tape around it, for the pack in. Any more eligant solutions?

I made a little pull tab with tape, it comes off pretty easily, if I had to get it off in hurry. Obviously I'd have it removed before beginning a stalk. My main concern is while strapped to my pack. Thoughts?

That peep looks big and bulky. I guess your tape idea is going to be the easiest.

It's a standard 3/16. I messed around with other styles, but this size fits the fiber optic ring around my sight perfectly. Centering the sight ring in my peep, lets me know the bow isn't tourqed.

Never caught my peep on anything while it was on my pack. I'd say your solution is as good as any. Good luck.
