The last few seasons I have been traveling with at least one cheap Coleman cooler with wheels as one of my checked bags. I put a duffel in the bottom and fill it with clothes and gear. I then tie mule tape around it so it can’t come open and check it as a bag. It is exactly 61” and the airline limit is 62”. When I get something I freeze it hard load it into the cooler as soon to my departure time as possible and duct tape all of gaps around the lid. I then tie the mule tape to secure it and check it right back home. These things aren’t fancy. But they work! Highly recommend! Sure you can fly with a yeti but they weight 30 lbs at least. This bad boy tips the scales (I think I remember correctly) at 11 lbs leaving 40 lbs for meat and 45 if you are good about putting your toe under the bag on the scale at the airport
