Propane vs Diesel

Diesel parking heaters exhaust outside the vehicle. Heat is transferred through a heat exchanger and have forced air running into the heated space thru a duct of some kind. Typically propane heaters used for this purpose, like a Buddy heater (this is what I assume the OP is looking to use), have combustion and heat generating directly into the cabin. This is why there is condensation and a need for some type of ventilation. If the propane heater uses a heat exchanger like the diesel heater or a propane furnace, then yes, there would be no condensation.

Installed a diesel heater in my 5th wheel that sits on my hunting land. I was using the propane furnace and electric heaters to heat the thing and the electric bill was off the charts. Do not like the propane furnace as it is noisy and a lot more hassle to refill tanks. Bought a Vevor and put it in and so far I really like it. They are nice for how cheap they are. I got it rigged up so I just set the 6 gallon jug on the ground and stick the pump hose in it. When empty I swap fuel jugs and run to town and fill it up with off road fuel. cheaper than running propane furnace for sure. I do not know why those RV furnaces are not made with a higher efficiency rating, you could roast a chicken on the combustion outlet.
