Primer?

Is that newer ammo? Is the jury still out on the new Remington ammo products? Just Curious. Only primers I have had a problem with are Fiochi? Have had many misfires requiring a second hammer blow. It may be I let the ammo get too cold. Different rifles, different calibers. All large rifle Primers. Has not happened with the other CCI, Federal or Winchester I have used.

I have a collectors tin of old copper primers like that. It's from the 1950's. They are dome topped. When you fire them they flatten to look like modern primers.

When primers were unobtainable post covid, Winchester became available. They were all these same copper. They seemed inconsistent ignition because of the large SD I was getting. I don’t know if they were new production or old primers repackaged. When I get home I can take a pic of the box I kept.

This brass hasn't been loaded in a long, long time. Gonna deprime and into the stainless tumbler. mtmuley

Those old boxes are cool. The frontier box I really like I have the same one.
