i was gonna put in for a preference point in colorado, and maybe some other places. but when i went to checkout it was gonna cost me $345 for a preference point. do you have to pay the price of a tag just for points? i didnt have to do that in utah. and is there any other place i should put in for mule deer? thanks for all ur help guys

You pay the lowest elk tag fee for a preference point in CO. Most of it will be refunded to you when the draw is over.

colorado points are $25 each species,,,you have to pay full price amount but youll get it all back exept for the $25 and the online app fee,,,easy to charge up your credit card for a few months untill they send the refund.Im sure they make money on it while they do the draw.

does anybody know if as long as my habitat stamp is valid thru 3-31-12 would i need another one if im only putting in for points in 2012?
