Prarie Pothole Pics

Was out to visit clients and took a few pics of potholes that are all full

Not really a pothole but a flooded field

There is water running everywhere and all the sloughs and potholes are full.

Thats a familiar sight across eastern North Dakota at the moment. Much of the area there has gotten between 10 and 18 inches of rain in the last month and a half and it continues to rain every couple of days. Farmers who haven't gotten all of their crops in at this point will likely not get any more. On our farm all of the grain went in without a hitch but we only planted about 15% of our beans. The wet weather extends well up into Canada and may lead to another great waterfowl hatch. Only 2 months and 2 weeks until early goose season opens up!
