Laugh all you want but I still use the old farmer remedy.... I rub a gasoline soaked rag on the rash and itch. Not only does it cut the oils it gives a soothing mild burn that oddly feels great instead of the intense itch. Probably not the best thing for ya, but I do know it works and I get the stuff every 3-5 years from stomping around. Longs pants is the best thing, wearing shorts is not good when in Poison Ivy turf
