I went back out to Antelope Island on Saturday to see if I could find a few more big deer and get some pictures. I had an incredible morning the previous Saturday. That report is here: http://onyourownadventures.com/hunttalk/showthread.php?272106-Huge-Antelope-Island-Bucks

This Saturday was good as well, Saw several nice deer and one repeat from last week.

First good deer of the day was this one, several hundred yards away and on a mission to find some does.

Ran into him later and got some close pics. He came within 20 yards of us.

We drove to the end of where you could drive and didn't see deer in some of the usual spots. Got out and glassed and made some kind of miracle spot about a mile away on a rocky ridge. Basically saw a rock with legs. Looked harder and other rocks became deer. Turned out to be a small group with two good bucks. The larger buck pushed the smaller one off. We walked down the closed road and got close enough for some pics. Only got pics of the smaller of the two bucks.

Drove back and spotted a few people with cameras and checked it out. Turned out there was a good buck with some does bedded on a rocky knob. This buck was really nice, but busted up a bit.

The other folks taking pictures had moved down the trail a bit and were taking more pictures. There was another good buck with two does just 200 yards from this buck. I had seen this buck the week before. He had chipped off some small cheaters.

Another good morning out on the island for a guy like me. I really enjoy seeing any deer, let alone some amazing bucks like this.
