Took a little walk-about with a friend yesterday, in Unit 9. These are some of the critters we ran into..

The first, a big ol' buck, figured he was well hidden in this burn area.. Guess he was.. NOT!

Around noon time, we stopped and had some lunch, and played with a fawn bleet that Harry had brought along.. Well, it didn't take long to gather company..

Then later in the afternoon, we were almost back to the truck when we found this guy busily munching.. He heard the camera whir, turned and looked at us, then went right back to munching. He couldn't have cared less. Guess he knew we didn't have a tag..

All in all, it was a very good day..
