Phone vs camera body

Who has experience using their phone and/or camera body on a spotting scope to take pictures? Do you have side-by-side comparisons? What phone/camera and spotting scope did you use?

The Phone adapters available today are so good, I wouldn't mess with a camera body unless it was better than the phone I had access to. Hint to reduce vibration is use the countdown shutter to snap pictures to reduce shake.
