Pheasant Tacos

Found some 2.5 year old pheasant breasts and thighs that went AWOL in the back of the freezer. Marinated in OJ with some taco seasoning before grilling. Pickled red onions and jalapeno.

was literally just thinking about the same after discovering last years “sausage birds” bag (close shots, dog-chewed, et al all go into the sausage bag) an hour ago.

my go to for pheasant and grouse sausage is a Greek one from Michael Symon, but that looks excellent and might have to go tacos.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but I’ve got a 2.5ish year old ham and picnic roast from a hog I split with a dude from work in the bottom of my deep freeze.
What do you guys think?

Had pheasant as a kid but dont remember it. Taste like grouse? Quail?
