Pepper Sticks

Does anyone know how well smoked pepper sticks made from venison will handle being mailed? Do they need to be refrigerated, or can they be mailed like jerky? I had some made from my deer in Montana, and they are great! They are packed in heavy plastic "shrink wrap." They taste just like pepperoni, and even people who say they don't like vension like these.

Yes they have to be shipped with dry ice. When you recieve a gift in the mail from the many companies that offer sausages, pepperoni, etc... They state refrigate on receiving them to insure they stay fresh.
