I have purchased many items from various forums and never been cheated in any way. It is truly a shame that scammers have infiltrated these various forums. Today I take extra precautions when making purchases.

I got taken 1 time for a trail camera. Some research taught me my lesson. My last message with the person was they got me. Karma is real. Good luck. It was $30. Now I go the extra mile. I often find especially on FB that the scammers if you dig in have tells. Like all the pictures are from Idaho. The name and profile is from Idaho. But if you go in the about section of there profile they are following things in a 3rd world country and all their likes to postings are from another country. I bought Sitka gear from a posting. The profile had a picture of a good moose on it with the seller. I simply asked if his profile picture had a good bell. He sent me a picture of it and said yes. I assumed a guy from another country wouldn't even understand the question. I suppose a scammer from this side of the pond might get it. But I got the Sitka gear with no issue. Personal opinion is that there is a special place in hell for scam callers and sellers.
