Almost bought a Weatherby Obsidian......Turners Outdoorsman is liquidating them for 459.....and truly, it's a very lovely rifle. I thought....well....I need to be able to reach out to 400 yds.....then I looked at my sole hunting rifle, my JM 2004 45-70 GS and said.......nahhhhhhhhhhhhhh......and I bought another 100 mono-metal cartridges of Hornady 250 gr for my old age (and paid the 20% Calif Tax and $5 background check). Isn't life great!
