I got to go on a hunt with my lovely bride today. With moves, career changes, and growing kids, it's been way too long since we had a day together. There was frost on the pumpkin, and the marsh grass when we found a spot to sit.
Apparently, I still don't know how to find the wily north woods whitetail, but we sure know how to find moose. We saw four bulls in the span of about 20 minutes as we were still hunting back to the truck in the evening.
I was able to get photos of two of the bulls. The last one had a broken horn and a heck of a limp. I wonder if the big guy pictured was the one that tuned up on him.
