Does anyone use them and have feedback or feedback from someone you know?

I always seem to see positive reviews, but these are mostly on tv shows, so I'm not sure of the validity of the review.

I've been eyeballing the Butcher-Lite, Trophy-Pak, or Griz-Pax.

My experience is they seem to be pretty soft steel and dull easily. I got one of there butcher packs as a gift and have pretty much just used the knives for jobs I don't want to use my good one for. Personally I'd look elsewhere.

I have the Kodi Pak...good tools for the money. I agree with tone on their edge retention, especially on elk or pigs. Only takes me a few swipes with the diamond stick to whip em back to sharp.

I have the swingblade. The skinning portion of the knife is sweet. The blade dulls very easily.

I got the swingblade as a gift, I will echo all sentiments above, soft steel, dulls quickly. But easy to resharpen as well.

Okay, I was basically interested in the saw and skinner knife, i.e. Trophy-Pak.

Maybe I'll get a Sagen and a better brand of of skinner knife.

I have used a Gerber wyoming knife on several whitetails, but believe I need to step up in size for elk and mullies next fall.
