,,,The pucky scared out of her lastnight while doing chores She went to feed the buck rabbit, and a little field mouse came jumping out of the feeder when she opened the top She must have put at lease 20 pounds in her drawers She screamed so loud that one of the niebors called to see if she was alright hump QD came in holding her sides from laughing so hard....(That would have been fun to have a video camera for)

Went out to get my dog one night (when I was still in WY) and heard a clatter. I whipped my head around and out of the pitch dark about a dozen deer started flying at me all at once. Guess my lawn was tasty. That'll scare the snot out of you for sure.

That would of been funny... I think we all have been there also.. I was shoveling a bunch of garden clippings and tree trimmings into a truck with a pitch fork to take to the dumps down in Australia sometime back when all of a sudden something fell off the forks and right onto my shoulder... when I finally stop jumping around and squeeling like a little girl this is what I found.......



Known as a blue tongue lizard... Quite harmless and great for the gardens but not to look at close up and personal!!

I love being in the mountains in the dark, walking with some one else, then to disappear from their side, and reapear in front of them or in another place they are least expeting.

QO, Brown Recluse Spider is the one you're talking about I think.

The thing that bothers me the most when I'm hunting is to be sneaking through the brush, trying very hard to be quiet and not startle anything. You take one step and pause, then another step and pause, then another step and the ground erupts with a huge covey of quail just in front of you. 60 or 70 birds all going up at the same time. It's not scarey, after you realize what it is, but until then it's like the ground is coming up around you.

I have been 'jumped' by grouse that way, and yes, it is quite unnerving....
I wonder how startled guy's really are when I say hello to them when they are only 5-10 feet from me out in the no where....

yes dan spider name i was trying to say in some words lol i hate spiders i mean when i was young i picked one up liked scare others but it was daddy long leg harmless but now comes back to me ten fold
