Yep, he broke about 3 inches off, and yes, it was a sketchy climb out of there.

I'm still undecided on that. I've always left my deer tines as is, but not sure on this one.

I’d probably be the same with a goat, deer it’s an easy decision (for me) to leave.

No matter what, it sounds like a great hunt and I’m glad you were able to safely recover him.

I'm still undecided on that. I've always left my deer tines as is, but not sure on this one.

My opinion is fix it. I like to restore animals to their prime state as a sign of respect for their life.

I have no problem leaving it broken for character though either.
