One guys rant

I'm in the camp that there is no greater time in human history to be alive. Kinda true for every subsequent generation since the beginning.

There are always caveats, sure. That hardest part about today, IMO, is that life is so easy much of the meaning has been sucked out of existence. It's still there, it just takes a little more conscious effort to avoid the pitfalls and see the value.

But, such is the human condition. Whether you have a theological perspective on things or not I would think it's obvious the very fabric of the universe is blighted with imperfection and that leaks down to the very DNA of humanity resulting in all of the things that plague mankind and its world.

Again, a tale as old as time.

Honestly living in the age of the world timeline where you can go to Buffalo Wild Wings, order a plate of food for yourself that took 20-30 chickens to produce, gorge, and wash it down with a Silver Bullet while watching folks get paid millions of dollars to play games all the while trusting that some day in that not too distant future an ER doc will successfully resuscitate you from the heart attack and chronic disease this lifestyle produces so you can continue living it well into your 70's or 80's tells me we live in a pretty beautiful age.

The Hooters down here went out of business . Most of the hooters looked fake to me , not that there’s anything wrong with that!
First they changed their menu, went to unbreaded wings , YUK !
Then they did away with the senior discount.
I miss the days when large fake hooters enticed real men to consume large quantities of death inducing foods,
Merica !
