Offering Colorado Elk Hunt - Wanted Whitetail Hunt

Future Hunting Buddies:

I am inviting you to hunt elk with us in north-central Colorado where you have a good chance of taking a nice represenative bull. You can take two elk if one of them is a cow. We are not taking B&C trophys but each year we take respectable 5x5, and small 6x6 bulls and many more cows.

I will be hunting during the second season this year (Oct 22 - 30, 2005) but I am retired (at age 57) so I can offer a hunt during any of the Colorado seasons.

In return, I am requesting a hunt where I have a good chance of taking a nice representative whitetail buck. I'm not necessarily looking for a B&C trophy, just a fine animal that would look good on the wall.

I wont swap you a hunt but will help you out if you get this way.
I can't guarantee you a great hunt but, if your ever in the SW missouri area and need a place to stay or hunt give me a shout.
I know of some private land (820 acres) to hunt as well as some conservation areas and nat forest areas.
I will hopefully have them scouted out by Sept.
The archery season starts in Nov and runs through Jan 06.
With rifle in Dec.
Good luck and hope you find someone to take you up on the hunt swap. I would love to hunt elk again but, that is a big ticket item for me this year that I can't afford.
