Two and a half weeks later, this is what I ended up with. Several things turned out to be a PITB, but got er done.

He is in the process of hanging an 85 horse on it this afternoon. May get it on the water this weekend and get some fishing in.

That looks like a great fishing platform. Plenty of room with few things to get your line hooked up on. Now it's time to get some blood on the deck. Where are you planning on taking it out for it's maiden voyage?

Son-in-law learned how to ski behind it growing up, sat years in the elements. His dad gave it to him. Made it so he could turn the hose on it to wash the fish guts out.. 16 footer and now an 85HP Merc and the trolling motor that I donated along with two and a half weeks of labor. What father in laws are for... right?
