north dakota badlands ???

Lookin at trying to draw a bow tag for that area next year. Anybody been there? Whats the mule deer pop like? Any kind of info I could get. Thanks

I'm not sure if there's a drawing for the tags. I've never hunted the Badlands but i have hunted Montana along the border. The guides where always joking if you spook a big muledeer buck he would cross the border into ND & a lot of them believe that's where the big bucks stayed until the rut kicked in.
