That is what makes this case interesting. What objective standard is there for addiction?

I would go woth the CDC.

For example (obviously there's an issue where the same question addresses federally legal and illegal drugs).

I know thisnis an archived link, but say a person is a "current infrequent user of ...(alcohol in this case), Marijuana? Cocaine? Really hard to say.

But the definition has to come from a Federal Program for a Federal Questionnaire, IMO.

Obviously this case could open that can of worms, amd the whole idea has to get hashed out.

I commented to my brother that while I am far from pro cannabis, the war is lost. Give it up already. I can't observe any difference in how things are since it was legalized. Other than the time a young woman made a left hand turn from the wrong lane, passed me on the right, and sped on her way. A short distance later, she turned into a cannabis shop.

Alcohol has and always will cause more issues than people being able to legally buy marijuana. And no, I don't partake. mtmuley

You can usually tell when they are the only car driving way under the speed limit. Of course that could be said for alchohol as well.

Since being legalized here the thing that drives me nuts is the second hand pot smoke. Just because its legal doesn't mean you can do it and blow it in the faces of other people. Thats an enforcement issue though I guess.

You should have seen the cities and counties in Washington bickering over the legally limited number of dispensaries. The minute it became taxable that war was lost.

It's just a very lousy argument. You want to make sure people who have an occasional beer cant own guns too?

If my town, America, or just a buddy are in a bad situation or under attack, I dont want a large percentage of people to be unable to help because some boomers thought they shouldn't own a gun because they imbibe occasionally in their leisure time.
