Noharleyyet: Better hide your guns...

Seriously funny thread. Texas, tombstone and a brokeback reenactment between WV and drthorton. Good stuff!

At least I found this out before talking WV into coming out for an elk hunt. I'm Texan by marriage so I'd best not take a chance.
.
Ah man, take a chance. You may have fun haha

I live in McKinney but am in St Louis on business this week otherwise I come over and meet you. For the most part, whitetail hunters on leases simply gut and back a pickup and load up. I've done the gutless on an Elk and plan to do it on my next whitetail as well.

I don't have much time to do more than to have a quick dinner, but I'll be around until Saturday morning if anyone else is in the area.

Careful, WV just might catch the red eye & join ya.

RobG, I can give you better TexMex and Southwestern right here in Montana than you will get in most of Texas.

I know this to be true... Meanwhile, in McKinney, I'm freezing my ass off. Texans need to learn how to do cold properly so it's tolerable.

We didnt do cold. We BBQ'd wild game meat at Christmas, in our shorts and I dont mean boxers. If a slight freeze, or the every eight year snow might hit, everything shuts down. Your blood could not have thinned that fast.
