The Cleveland, Angeles and San Bernardino National Forests are shut down to recreational use, including hunting, except for a few developed campgrounds due to extreme fire hazards. The deer season starts Saturday in most of those forests. ![Frown :( :(](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Actually, the best thing for a lot of those forests would be to have a fire. The underbrush is so thick in many areas that it supports little or no wildlife. A good burn would improve the habitat immensely, but that threatens Yuppie homes...![Roll eyes  ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
