No birds taken but a great time anyway. video

Took my red setter, star, up on the cross O ranch today. I haven't been hunting this year due to a hip replacement so this would be my 4th hunt of the season. I knew that area held birds but wasn't sure we would find them.. I limit my time afield to about 2 to 3 hours, star had one point but I wasn't able to get there in time and they moved out under her point. We saw mule deer, elk, golden eagles, bear crap, but no birds...........

Sounds like Dan Tyminski. That's big country. Hope that new hip is treating you well. I was wondering if you had been getting out on it.
