Going to be elk hunting in northern New Mexico. Every year we seem to stumble on some beautiful color phase bears without trying. Was planning on getting a bear tag as I usually do. But want to actually spend some time bear hunting. Having never bear hunted how would some you more experienced guys go about it? No bait, no dogs, no sows with cubs. Is my best bet going to be just setting cameras up at a few tanks and see what hits?
