sweet tag, that is where i drew.. I know a few places i guess. In two days me and my bud took a 36 and 37 inch bull.
Hell, your allowed to take 2 buddies each, I would go along if you pick me up at the airport but you might fly as well since it is a long haul from ID

Congrats to all gemsbokers.
flew into El paso TX and drove north 1.5 hours. You can fly into ABQ but it will be like 4 hours south that way. Other thing is NM gouges on tax for rental cars compared to surrounding states so like if you hunt the north NM area it is cheaper sometimes to fly into Colorado springs or DEN and drive the extra 1-2 hours and save 150 bucks.
ABQ airline will be cheaper if you buy tickets but if you can use frequent flyer miles to go to Elpaso, that is the way to go.

MNHunter I hunted stallion in Jan 2007 you will have a great hunt. Do a search here on Oryx and my hunt report should come up. Whole experience with crazy people and UFOs. I have a buddy in Missoula that drew Broken horn stallion range February 09 so I get to tag along YIPPEEEE!!!!!
Will be fun not having the pressure of a 1600.00 tag in my pocket.
Toughest part is judging those buggers. Funnest hunt I have ever done.
Moosie now you can scratch Gemsbok off the Africa List. Use that argument when explaining it the the Boss. Think of the money you will save.
