Hey all, I am late to this thread but I put my 13-year-old daughter in for the November youth off-range oryx hunt, thinking there was no way she would draw the one nonresident tag.. but somehow she did!

We’re from California and this will be our first time hunting oryx or spending any real time in that part of New Mexico. I’m new to the forum and I am really enjoying reading all the oryx stories and learning what we’re getting ourselves into.

Looking for any help or guidance I can get on where to start and how to focus our time so I'll probably be reaching out to folks. We’re excited to make the trip and hopefully make it a hunt she’ll always remember!
