I some how drew elk and antelope non-resident. both are rifle hunts. Unit 5B ELK Nov 7-11 and Unit 18 for Antelope Sep 26-28. Did not really want to draw two tags but here we are lol.

Drew muzzleloader deer for a unit I like to spend time in (the hunting isn’t very good, I just enjoy the area); kept the streak alive at 13 years with no luck on elk. All red for the rest of my immediate family, oh well, maybe next year for them. Looking forward to spending some time in NM this fall!

I got lucky and drew an ORX tag !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think its my personal 26th application. My dad drew previously and 2 friends drew over the years.

I am in simular boat, crap unit just want to explore a specfic mountain during season and its enroute to another already scheduled hunt. Had tag last year and felt like I needed to see more of unit. Congrats on having a tag
