Incredibly tough nonresident sheep odds…but I always apply.

Seeing that AZ saw another increase I doubt NM is at its peakMy prediction: 2025 was peak NM application volume.
Costs up, opportunity down. I’m cutting back on applications for my kids, we have much better odds of drawing and having a good hunt in Colorado.
I still love NM and i will put in, but the days of floating them a 15k loan across several family members may be over.
You may well be right but AZ didn’t crank up NR costs like NM did.. the cost to buy another elk point and stay in the game didn’t change in AZ, even if odds continue to erode. In NM the odds have been bad for awhile but the cost to play just jumped…Seeing that AZ saw another increase I doubt NM is at its peak
If you applied for Ibex, hope it was the bow tag. They eliminated the muzzy hunt and dropped the OIL hunt to 5 tags, so no NR will be able to draw that this year.In for Deer, Elk, Ibex, Oryx, Barbary & BH.
@SC Living Outdoors so good hed still draw!If you applied for Ibex, hope it was the bow tag. They eliminated the muzzy hunt and dropped the OIL hunt to 5 tags, so no NR will be able to draw that this year.
Can't beat eating oryxi did elk and barbary sheep. I guess this is what might light a fire under my ass to get back to being busy and making money. I'm debating putting in for sheep oryx and deer, but if i draw a sheep or oryx and my elk tag, i'm gonna be squeezed pretty tight (and possibly murdered in my sleep by my wife).
I'm hoping my son gets a tag so we can try to test this statement....Can't beat eating oryx
Fine. i'll throw a dart out there. if i get yelled at i'm blaming you. Can't beat eating oryx
